Teresa Patton


 Attorney Teresa Patton provides clients with excellent and experienced legal representation. She represents individuals who have legal matters in Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland, and Macomb Counties. She appears in the State of Michigan’s district and circuit courts, and the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. 
​ Teresa specializes in state and federal criminal defense, and family law. Teresa is able to offer a benefit that most attorneys are unable to provide. She spent over a decade as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office where she gained experience in every stage of a criminal case from signing warrants to beginning criminal charges to conducting countless trials. Her experience of litigating cases as a prosecutor and a defense attorney allows her to assess a criminal case prosecuted against her clients from a very unique, beneficial and advantageous perspective.  Teresa is also very strong in the area of legal research, and she prosecutes criminal expungement matters.  Expungement is the removal of qualified criminal convictions from a person’s record. 
​ Teresa earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Wayne State University School of Law and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Teresa is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Wayne County Community College.  

Gabriela Nolen


 Gabriela is a pioneer in the field of electronic legal research having been a part of the industry before most lawyers even knew what the Internet was or how the World Wide Web would transform the practice of law.
​ Gabriela’s practice includes long-time clients and assisting them in real estate investing, business transactions, and corporate set-up.  Gabriela also has a strong affinity for children and the elderly and has served as a guardian ad litem for the Monroe County, Michigan Probate Court as well as has developed a strong estate planning practice, which includes estates valuing over a million dollars to pro bono work for senior citizens.  Gabriela’s work experience includes, large and small law firm work, and corporate legal department experience. Gabriela is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Estate Planning and Sports and Entertainment Sections), Gabriela has also served for six years on the State Bar of Michigan Grievance Committee, has been a board member of the Monroe County Community College Foundation, and a board member ofHabitat for Humanity Monroe County. Gabriela earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toledo, and an Associates Degree from Monroe County Community College.  

Byron H. Nolen


 Byron has acted as lead counsel in a variety of major civil litigation cases. These include commercial litigation, municipal litigation, civil rights, contract disputes, and employment discrimination matters. Complimenting his trial experience, Byron’s practice also includes civil mediation, business law, criminal law, family and bankruptcy law. Not surprisingly, his client base is quite diverse.

​ Byron has years of professional and business experience in addition to the practice of law. This enables him to better anticipate and evaluate his clients' needs. He has represented multinational corporations, small businesses, and governmental entities. His diversity of business and professional experience compliments his practice of law.
         Byron is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Northern District of Ohio, and he has also been admitted to practice Pro Hac Vice in the Lucas County Circuit Court in Ohio.
​          Byron is a participant in many civic and political organizations and has been honored with the Mayor Dennis W. Archer’s Certificate of Appreciation Award, Spirit of Detroit Award and Civic Achievement Award.  Byron is the Co-Chair of the Inkster Task Force, a member of the National Action Network Inkster Chapter, NAACP Western Wayne County Chapter, Inkster Democratic Club, and sits on various boards for local non-profit organizations. 
​         Byron earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Detroit -Mercy School of Law and holds a Bachelor of General Studies Degree from the University of Michigan.
